Published dates come from a current official calendar. Annual-calendar dates follow a standing local rule. Estimates and expected dates still need confirmation. A later notice for another property does not reopen your own expired window. These are 2026 filing dates, even when the resulting tax bill or hearing falls in 2027. Each county below shows when its sources were last checked.

Orange County
November 30, 2026
Regular annual assessment appeals, including Irvine, Anaheim and Santa Ana
The county publishes July 2 through November 30 for the 2026 annual filing period. Supplemental and escape assessments have their own notice-based deadlines.
September 28; October 5, 13; November 2, 9, 16, 2026
Seattle, Eastside and other King County notice cohorts
Remaining dates as of September 23 correspond to July 30, August 6, August 13, September 3, September 10 and September 17 notices under the 60-day rule. July 16 and July 23 cohorts have already closed. Confirm your parcel in eAppeals; October 13 includes the county holiday adjustment.
Remaining fall notices in Vancouver, Camas, Battle Ground and Clark County
Most notices mail in June and the balance in September. November remains an estimate for a September notice, not a countywide deadline. Use the 60-day period on your own notice; a later cohort does not reopen a June notice's window.
Bellingham, Ferndale, Lynden and other Whatcom County properties
At the September 23 check, the Board still says 2026 notices have not mailed. Most owners have 30 days after the new notice, not Clark's 60 days. This range remains an estimate; October 27, 2025 on the county page belongs to the prior assessment year.
Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater and other Thurston County properties
For September 16, 2026 notices, the county publishes November 16 at 5 p.m., unless your notice states otherwise. A handwritten signature and a copy of the notice front are required. No online or emailed petitions; allow time for a timely USPS postmark or delivery.
September 24 to October 27, 2026 for five listed townships; later dates pending
Assessor appeals in the south and west suburbs
Bremen, Lemont, Calumet, Worth and Proviso have published dates on the September 22 Assessor calendar. Orland, Thornton, Rich and Bloom remain pending. Board of Review appeals use a separate calendar and representation rules.
Buffalo city assessments, separate from Erie County town calendars
The standing city calendar allows December 1 through December 31 grievances. The detailed instructions available at verification still describe December 2025. Confirm the new cycle's forms, receipt time and delivery instructions before filing.
The annual grievance period ends November 15, which falls on Sunday in 2026. November 16 is expected under New York's weekend rule, pending a cycle-specific city notice. Aim to deliver by Friday, November 13. Informal review has a September 15 deadline; additional BAR information is due December 15.
Village assessment only, separate from Nassau County ARC
The village requires physical receipt by 8 p.m. on the third Tuesday of November, which is November 17 in 2026. A timely postmark does not substitute for receipt.
Village assessment only, separate from the Town of Babylon process
The village's annual period ends on the third Tuesday of November. In 2026 that is November 17. Confirm the current form, office cutoff and delivery method with the village.
Property Value Appeals Board petitions after fall tax statements
The county publishes December 31, 2026. Hand delivery is due by 5 p.m.; mailed petitions need a qualifying USPS postmark by that date. Filing begins the day after tax statements mail.
